We are pleased to announce a unique educational opportunity for advanced training in Palliative Care and Bereavement clinical social work through a full-year Post-Master’s Clinical Social Work Fellowship. The Post-Master’s Social Work Fellow in Bereavement will develop advanced skills in psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, acute and ongoing grief counseling and bereavement support with adults and children, patient advocacy, practical resource assistance, and coordination of care to patients and families. The Fellow will receive clinical supervision from an experienced senior L.C.S.W. In addition, the Fellow will benefit from mentorship from other bereavement team members and numerous other training opportunities.
This is a part time (32hrs/week), paid and benefited twelve-month Fellowship. M.S.W. graduates who possess a strong interest in palliative care and bereavement, pediatric social work, and developing advanced clinical skills with a pediatric critical care population are encouraged to apply.
