The Sr. Enterprise Business Systems Architect has direct responsibility for establishing and managing the long- and short-term web, mobile and business systems strategy, processes and procedures for all applications and associated infrastructure. The Sr. Architect is primarily responsible for consistent applications, systems and cloud services integration across the organization for enterprise-wide business systems and web and mobile applications. The Sr. Architect participates in the application design and implementation, analyzes application activities, makes recommendations for improvement, translates organizational business needs to technology requirements and proposes appropriate technologies and services to enable the  enterprise to meet strategic and tactical objectives. The Sr. Applications Architect participates in developing business cases for new systems. The Sr. Enterprise Business Systems Architect is responsible for identifying opportunities and for creation of enterprise-level shared applications and infrastructure.

The Sr. Enterprise Business Systems Architect sets enterprise application standards and architectural guidelines, technology policies and procedures, collaborates with the Technical Architect, effectively communicates them to users and suppliers, establish and maintain the application innovation process. The architect is also responsible for monitoring code quality, developing change control procedures, triaging and tracking issues to resolution. The architect works as a liaison to team members on tactical product/application issues and provides expert system knowledge. The role also includes mentoring and coaching of team members with regard to technical and system integration.

  • Aligns Enterprise Business needs and technology requirements and ensures Customers first approach

  • Applies the Enterprise Architecture methodology to LPCH application infrastructure

  • Brings innovative solutions and initiate to lead and create value based digital solutions that helps in support of Organization's digital strategy on web and business systems

  • Builds and leverages relationship with key technology partners/vendors and maintains cross functional Information Service team collaboration

  • Develops application and associated infrastructure architectures, collaborates with the service providers to ensure their proper implementation.

  • Establishes baseline, ensure completeness of documentation.

  • Integrates with IS strategic planning.

  • Participates in business case development, project sizing, design and implementation.

 

  • Participates in technology governance with service providers, University, School of Medicine, and SHC.

  • Performs gap analysis to determine where current applications do not meet client needs and propose appropriate improvements.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience

         Seven (7) years preferred

Professional Certifications from the following are desired:

  • Cloud: Azure Cloud, Amazon Web Services CAWS), Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud

 

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

These are the observable and measurable attributes and skills required to perform successfully the essential functions of the job and are generally demonstrated through qualifying experience, education, or licensure certification.

  • Experience working Digital Experience Platforms, Web and Mobile Platforms with cloud experience of Azure, AWS, Google cloud and multimillion-page views and visits.

  • Experience working on ERP and Human Capital Management platforms including HR

and Finance/ Supply Chain Business Systems with cloud/ on premise knowledge

  • Experience in Digital Transformation with business workflow optimization, system and software design with programming and automation using cloud services

  • Strong knowledge of Dev-ops and Agile methodology to lead and manage multiple

organizational architecture initiatives

  • Ability to assess and troubleshoot complex application issues

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple service providers.

  • Ability to design the solutions using industry latest web technologies and best security practices

  • Ability to identify workflows, processes for automation

  • Ability to design and develop scripts using Power Shell, Python, Shell Script for effective monitoring of applications

  • Ability to be User-focused, build relationships and communicate effectively

  • Ability to apply information technology in a healthcare setting

  • Robotic Process Automation and Digital Transformation experience.

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple service providers.

  • Ability to design the solutions using industry latest web technologies and best security practices

  • Ability to identify workflows, processes for automation

  • Ability to design and develop scripts using Power Shell, Python, Shell Script for effective monitoring of applications

  • Ability to be User-focused, build relationships and communicate effectively

  • Ability to apply information technology in a healthcare setting

  • Ability to assess and troubleshoot complex application issues
