The Senior Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist (RT) sets exposure parameters and provides the radiographic technical expertise during cardiovascular, neurovascular and angiographic procedures. Utilizes Fluoroscopy (in or outside of radiology) and/or CT.

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital’s policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.
Directly assists the physician(s) during cardiovascular, interventional, neurovascular, and pediatric angiographic or other diagnostic or therapeutic imaging procedures.
Functions as an informational resource to others regarding equipment and procedures.
Operates fixed and mobile angiographic equipment including x-ray system controls, diagnostic and digital image archival and power injectors.
Performs required quality control procedures on equipment and initiates repair as necessary to maintain safe usage.
Responsible for working with the Radiology Leadership team in the training of new staff.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology school
Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
Licensure/Certification: BLS Certification
Licensure/Certification: RTF – Radiology Technologist Fluoroscopy Certification
Licensure/Certification: CRT – Certified Radiology Technologist
Licensure/Certification: ARRT-RTR - Registered Technologist - Radiography, ARRT

Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring systems
Knowledge of basic computer skills
Ability to perform general and specialized radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures which meet the departments standard of quality

Ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and visitors
Ability to deal tactfully and sympathetically with patients

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
Minimum to Midpoint Range (1.0 FTE): $145,454.40 to $164,975.20
