JOB SUMMARY

This paragraph summarizes the general nature, level and purpose of the job.

The IT Project Coordinator contributes to the planning and implementation of enhancements and upgrades to applications as assigned. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating customer participation in the implementation of new projects and upgrades to existing systems, software, hardware and platforms throughout the enterprise. Contributes in the development of customer specifications, planning and coordinating customer testing and training, and activation support as appropriate.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.

* Acts as lead for conducting semi-annual customer satisfaction surveys, collating the data & reporting out to IS Leadership.
* Assesses and participates in the planning of IT product life cycle - projects; determine project implementation plans; participate in overall strategic planning.
* Contributes to the development of standards and procedures as related to projects/products.
* Communications point person for the IS department responsible for writing, vetting, editing & distributing communications from the IS department to the organization such as a regular IS newsletter.
* Conducts detailed analysis as appropriate for major changes on new systems.
* Provide problem identification and documentation; ensure coordination and communication of information.
* Contributes to the development of standards and procedures as related to projects/products.
* Ensures appropriate communication and training to appropriate staff; develop customer back-up procedures ensuring that documentation is maintained and distributed.
* Ensures smooth coordination and turnover of projects both at the initial stage and project end/conclusion and transition to customer and staff specialist.
* Maintains communication links with appropriate areas of IT and customers; includes opening, updating, and documenting resolutions in the problem management system.
* Monitors budget requirements to ensure the financial goals of the project are within guidelines.
* Participates in identifying and assessing organizational strategies such as work flow and systems/applications which meet operational needs; translate these analyses into project plans for automating processes and operational functions and recommend project plan.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

* Education: Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.
* Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.

KNOWLEDGE

These are the observable and measurable attributes and skills required to perform successfully the essential functions of the job and are generally demonstrated through qualifying experience, education or licensure/certification.

* Ability to apply judgment and make informed decisions.
* Ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus.

* Knowledge and understanding of information technology methodologies and ways in which it can be applied within the healthcare organization.
* Knowledge and understanding of methodologies and processes in upgrading and enhancing existing systems, software, hardware and platforms.
* Knowledge of new technologies (in specific field) and maintain and stay abreast of updates and changes.
* Knowledge of project management processes and systems.
* Knowledge of software and technical applications and interfaces typically used in healthcare environment.
* Skill: Written communication skills with graphic design skills.

Pay Range
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $60.00 to $79.56
