Some of our best candidates come from the recommendations of our valued staff. Our Employee Referral Program makes it easy to invite your friends to apply for career opportunities at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health. If your friend is successfully hired, we have bonus levels to thank you for your partnership in referring to applicable positions.

Refer a friend in three steps

Step 1:

Visit the Employee Portal at the Stanford Medicine Children’s Health Employee Portal. Then check the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford Brand box filter on the left side.

Note: The jobs with the green “Referral available” next to them are open for employees and nonemployees to apply for.

Step 2:

Select the job you wish to refer someone to and click the “REFER A FRIEND” button.

Alternatively, you may click the “Referral link” to copy/paste the link and send to your friend. You will be the referrer for anyone who applies using this link for the job.

Step 3: 

Fill out the form to include:

  • Your referral’s first and last names. 
  • Your referral’s email address. 
  • Your referral’s phone number. 
  • How you know them. 
  • Your recommendation for this person. 
  • You can also drop in their résumé if they shared it with you. 

Note: If your referral will apply using your referral link, you do not need to fill out the form.

Your referral will receive an email to apply for this job; please make sure they complete the application. If they do not see the email, ask them to check their spam folder. 

Your friends, family, or former colleagues can apply directly to a position on our career website careers.stanfordchildrens.org and select “Employee Referral” to indicate how they heard of the job. Your friend will need to share your name with the Talent Acquisition Partner if selected for the interview process. 

You are not eligible for a bonus if you refer individuals currently employed at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, Stanford Health Care, or Stanford University, or within the Packard Children’s Health Alliance.
